Volume 56, September 2004

Pages H1096–H1103: A. Yang, D. Sonin, L. Jones, W. H. Barry, and B. T. Liang. "A beneficial role of cardiac P2X4 receptors in heart failure: rescue of the calsequestrin overexpression model of cardiomyopathy." The description of panels C and D in Figs. 6 and 7 were transposed. Panel C description should have been CSQ/P2X4R instead of CSQ. Panel D description should have been CSQ instead of CSQ/P2X4R. The legends should read as follows.

Fig. 6. Heart histology in NTG, P2X4R, CSQ, and CSQ/P2X4R mice. Hematoxylin-eosin-stained sections from NTG (A), P2X4R (B), CSQ/P2X4R (C), and CSQ (D) mice were obtained. The stained sections were typical of four mice from each group. Areas of collagen deposits were present in the CSQ hearts.

Fig. 7. Heart histology in NTG, P2X4R, CSQ, and CSQ/P2X4R mice. Trichrome-stained sections from NTG (A), P2X4R (B), CSQ/P2X4R (C), and CSQ (D) mice were obtained. The stained sections were typical of four mice from each group. Areas of collagen deposits were present in the CSQ hearts.
